1. About this policy
This policy explains how Girevik handles information in the Girevik mobile app and on getgirevik.com. If you have a privacy question, contact us at mike@driftwood-ai.com.
2. Information stored by the app
Girevik stores workout sessions, presets, settings, notes, RPE, rep counts, and related training details locally on your device. The app does not require an account and does not send this training history to a Girevik server.
3. Microphone and speech recognition
Sport mode can use the microphone and Apple speech recognition to turn a spoken rep count into a workout entry. Girevik asks for microphone and speech-recognition permission before using this feature. On iOS, recognition requests are configured to require on-device recognition. Girevik does not upload your voice recordings or transcripts to its own servers.
Voice capture may create a temporary audio file on your device so you can review a result. By default, that file is cleared when you finalize the workout review. If you turn on “Keep Capture Audio 24h,” the file remains on your device for up to 24 hours and is then deleted automatically.
4. Data sharing
Girevik does not sell personal information. The app contains no advertising SDK, analytics SDK, or cloud-sync service. Device services supplied by Apple process permissions, speech, audio, and operating-system functions under Apple’s terms and privacy practices.
5. Retention and deletion
Training records remain on your device until you delete them or remove the app. You can delete individual sessions from History. Removing Girevik from your device removes its local app data, subject to the normal behavior of device backups managed by you or Apple.
6. The website
This website does not use advertising, analytics, account sign-in, or marketing forms. It does not set first-party tracking cookies. Cloudflare may process basic request information such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps to deliver and secure the site.
7. Children
Girevik is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Changes
This policy may be updated as Girevik changes. The date at the top of this page will show when the policy was last revised. Material changes will be reflected before the related app feature is released.
9. Contact
Questions or deletion requests can be sent to mike@driftwood-ai.com. Because Girevik does not operate user accounts or a remote training database, we cannot access or delete data stored only on your device.
